Spring break! Two words that you look forward to from the day you come back from Christmas break… and what better way to start spring break then to go to Disneyland with my boyfriend and celebrate our 6 months together. =)
The morning started with these amazingly cool but beautiful flowers! Such beautiful red roses! =) Thank you Drew!!!
Then we went through our days and then finally drove off to Disneyland!
We get to go out on dates about every month on the 12th usually.. haha so it was really nice to just get away from school and work and friends and just be by ourselves (without counting all the Disneyland goers). We started at california adventure just wandering around because I am apparently horrible at knowing where that bear trail was and then we eventually got to the little finding nemo show thing. After that, we went on tower of terror and for some reason I was scared to death?! I forgot the first initial drop happens, so drew was teasing me that it was going to drop and it did…so incidentally I screamed my head off! Here’s the (Lovely =/ ) picture:
I’m screaming, laughing, and basically crying, and Drew is mocking me and laughing…like always! lovely! =)
Then we went over to Disneyland for the night. It was a ton of fun! We went on all the important rides, ate some tasty food and churros, and headed home! =)
I don’t know if Drew knows how appreciative I am for that time we get to spend together. Those of you who actually read this and know both of us, you know that we are both really busy, so time together that isn’t already planned weekly (i.e. youth group, small groups, church, and other events like these) is once in a blue moon. I love this time together! I love times we get to go off campus and just have fun!
I don’t know if Drew knows how appreciative I am about all the work he puts into our relationship. It takes a lot of work to be friends with someone, much less to date them! He doesn’t have all the time in the world, but he still sets aside time for me and I so appreciate that!
I don’t know if Drew knows how appreciative I am about his will power and discipline in our relationship! It’s not easy to stay pure in a relationship, but Drew has been the foundation and leader (well, Christ really is, but Drew has followed Jesus with all his heart in this area:) ) to keep us pure in our thoughts, actions, speech, and example to other couples. I adore this! (GIRLS: Find a guy like this! If he’s not willing to lead now, who’s to say he will lead later on in the relationship when a ton of other difficult factors are added into the mix!!)
Anyways, all this is to say how thankful I am to God for bringing Drew into my life! My life would be so different without him and I know God has used our relationship to teach me (and Drew) some very valuable lessons and things about myself! Thank you God for days to forget about school and work and to just spend a day of fun with my boyfriend! =)
And finally, a link to lyrics to such a wonderful song… Must Have Done Something Right- Relient K
(Lordwilling!!) To Be Continued… =)
